Thank you for visiting! Roving Blue, Inc. is a small, family-owned company based in Wisconsin. For the football fans out there, we're just half an hour north of Green Bay! We take pride in producing high-quality products and try hard to source American-made components whenever possible.
Since our founding, we’ve remained committed to keeping our products accessible. Not only have we never raised our prices—we’ve actually lowered them as we’ve grown and been able to purchase materials in larger quantities.
In 2024, we celebrated our 10-year anniversary. Thanks to your encouragement, support, and invaluable feedback, we’re excited to keep growing year after year. We look forward to continuing to bring you great products you can depend on!
An Idea is Born
Our founder, inventor, and serial entrepreneur Yana DeMyer has always had a love for the outdoors. As an outdoor TV show producer, hunter, and fisherman, she’s experienced the wild in ways few others have. Even before water bottles became a trend, Yana was always carrying one—and always frustrated that, despite being surrounded by water, it wasn’t safe to drink.
Her fascination with ozone's incredible ability to purify water began in 2008 and quickly turned into a passion. Driven by the vision of bringing “Clean Water to a Thirsty World,” Yana devoted herself to developing and testing countless prototypes. With determination, investor support, and a mission to make a difference, she launched Roving Blue.
Hello World!
Roving Blue was founded in September 2014, starting with a compact water purification system called the MVP. Weighing less than 25 pounds, the MVP was designed to be portable and efficient. To gain valuable field experience and feedback, we participated in multiple military field trials, where our technology was put to the test.

Field Trial: The Roving Blue crew participates in PACMAN (Pacific Manned-Unmanned Initiative) during RIMPAC, Ft. Bellows Marine Training Facility, Oahu, Hawaii. Also "Crimson Viper" Field Trials in Saraburi, Thailand.
Lacking traction in the military world, we pivoted to consumer products. (Dear DOD, we know you will be back!). In 2017 we introduced the World's 1st home ozone appliance - The Ozo-Pod 10.
In 2018 we introduced the world's 1st pocket ozone water purifier - the O-Pen (Now called the Ozo-Pen®) . The MVP is granted a Patent.
Roving Blue is one of 5 companies selected out of hundreds of national competitors to participate in Studio 1915, an accelerator program sponsored by Georgia Pacific. The result? With their engineering help, the GO3 is able to be mass-produced, ( we were 3D printing the first ones). See our CEO's presentation at the event.
Roving Blue is named a "Smart Lifestyle Startup" by LG, one of only 50 companies chosen from a world-wide competition of over 3,000.
We introduced the all-new GO3 Water Bottle Cap to the world and was nominated for "Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin", we made it to the final 16!
