1. What is ozone and how does it purify water?
Ozone (O₃) is a powerful form of oxygen that naturally oxidizes and neutralizes bacteria, viruses, and other contaminants in water. It works much faster and more effectively than chlorine—and unlike chemicals, ozone breaks down into ordinary oxygen, leaving no residue behind. That makes it one of the cleanest and most efficient water purification methods available.
2. How is Roving Blue different from other water purification brands?
Roving Blue uses electrolytic ozone generation—a clean, efficient process that produces ozone directly from water without the need for air pumps or cartridges. Our portable devices like the Ozo-Pen® and GO3® Cap are compact, rechargeable, and chemical-free, giving you safer water wherever you go.
3. Can I use the GO3® on a plane or while traveling?
Yes, the GO3® Ozone Cap is safe to travel with and designed for portability. It fits standard wide-mouth 1-liter Nalgene bottles and is rechargeable via USB.
4. What kind of water can I purify with your devices?
Use any clear water source: tap, filtered, or spring water. Ozone works best in clean, cold water. Avoid murky or sediment-heavy water without pre-filtering.
5. Can I use ozone water for food and surface cleaning?
Absolutely. Ozonated water is perfect for rinsing fruits, vegetables, cutting boards, sponges, and countertops. It removes germs and odors without chemicals.
6. How long does ozone last in water?
Ozone quickly reverts to oxygen after a few minutes, especially in warm or impure water. That’s why we recommend drinking or using ozonated water soon after treatment.
7. What does ozone smell like?
It has a fresh, sharp scent—similar to the smell after a thunderstorm. It's your natural indicator that ozone is present and active.
8. How long does the Ozo-Pen® last?
You can expect 500 hours of use. Each cycle lasts about 3 minutes, giving you around 10,000 uses.
9. What is your return policy?
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you’re not happy within 30 days, send it back for a full refund.
10. Where are your products made?
The GO3® is made in the USA. The Ozo-Pen® and Ozo-Pod® units are manufactured in China. All products are designed and quality-checked in Wisconsin.
