Using Distilled Water

Distilled water may be used, but it has very low electrical conductivity, which can limit ozone production.

To improve performance, simply add a small pinch of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) or magnesium sulfate (epsom salt) to provide the conductivity needed for normal operation.

Most users find that clean tap water contains sufficient natural minerals for effective ozone generation without any additives.
